It is awesome to see Little Jeremiah display his brilliance by recalling facts and information that he has acquired as a result of drilling. I guess I couldn't do that at his age. However, in this 21st Century, the world celebrates creativity and application of knowledge to solve problems. As such, Jeremiah must be guided to apply his knowledge. Stakeholders must get him a school to begin learning about robotics, computer coding, dance, music, literature, etc. In that way, he will get the help he needs and we will be blessed by his knowledge. Rote learning is not the way. Application of knowledge is. Therefore, parents and educationists should focus on the development of the six Core Competencies in the learner: Communication and Collaboration, Critical Thinking, Cultural Identity and Global Citizenship, Digital Literacy, Creativity and Innovation, and Personal Development and Leadership. In the face of the changing Future of Jobs, care must be taken in shaping the next generation to become Nomadic Knowledge Workers. God bless Ghana
